Salak

Snake Fruit (Sala). The creepy name comes from pattern of the hard, brittle shell, but crack it open to reveal light brown lobes of flesh that deliver a burst of sweet and sour flavours, and a lot of acidity. The small seeds are inedible but can easily be eaten around.
